First Intergenerational Gathering

publicart85

May 2, 2023

On May 2nd, I experienced one of my first-ever intergenerational art activities. It was a wonderful, fun, and hilarious workshop, and I'm sure every participant enjoyed it. Coming together with seniors and exploring their stories was an eye-opening and memorable experience I won't forget for a while. We all felt right at home and didn't hesitate to express ourselves creatively, whether that be through acting or interactive games. Bonding with some of the seniors even reminded me of my grandparents in China.

I look forward to future intergenerational workshops!
