Senior’s Visual Art workshop Blog Post

publicart85

“The art class with Lynna was utterly engaging, as she focused our attention in a most playful way through the medium of art, colors and creativity. We each produced a graphic version of a happy memory from our youth representing our journey to Canada. We got to know sides of each other we did not know about through collective sharing. This is a creative way of storytelling that engages all our senses in such a playful way. Being a witness to each other's processes is powerful and dissolves barriers of differences through color, imagery and memories woven together representing a moment in our individual story.

Lynna is a remarkable facilitator, making us aware of various mediums and styles that can be used to create our story in pictures and words and markings.

Thank you,

Azmina Kassem and Michael Knight

We laughed, we explored through colors and creative mediums”
